The Forces that Shape Charles Circle

Finally posting a paper I did for one of my first courses at MIT, Introduction to Urban Design and Development. The purpose was to pick a spot in Boston and analyze the "forces" that shaped it.  I chose this traffic interchange because I was just so damn intrigued by its cool old jail which was re-purposed as a hotel.  I probably spent way too much time researching (a function of not being in school for 7 years and taking my work way too seriously), but I was just determined to see if I could create something resembling a museum exhibit.
