John Moody is a filmmaker, city planner and designer who aims to help people see things differently.
With a background in visual storytelling, John is focused on using film and cinematic media to understand people's lived experiences and help them reimagine their physical environment. He advances the idea that we should be using media and storytelling not merely to sell, inform or entertain; but as tools that can communicate complexity and contradiction, change hearts and minds, and stimulate collective action. He channels this philosophy in his planning and design work, which is centered around strengthening connections between people and places in the public realm.
